LEADER Has £1m To Award in 2012!

LEADER is a source of funding for farmers, foresters, rural businesses and community organisations.  There are many new projects in the pipeline, some of which have been recently approved and awaiting and others which are still in the planning stage. LEADER continue to support job, new businesses, farm projects and tourism projects in your rural community.  The LEADER Programme - Grants for farmers, foresters, and community enterprises.  Grants of up to £50,000 are available.  The funding is available for projects from all these sectors and will be awarded in order to strengthen and support the local rural economy or community. A wide range of projects will be considered in the areas of Aylesbury Vale, rural Milton Keynes and the Chilterns. Projects must demonstrate that they are environmentally and economically sustainable in order to be awarded a grant.  For any further information on any of the above projects or to discuss an idea that you may have please contact the Nick or Lucy on 01844 210400.
