Tony Baldry MP wins FSB Small Business Friendly Award 2009

Tony Baldry MP for Banbury & Bicester was delighted to be recognised by FSB Thames Valley for being the most active advocate of small businesses in speeches made in the House of Commons during 2007/8. Tony accepted the "Small Business Friendly Award" from Robin Lawrence, FSB Thames Valley Regional Chairman.
Tony Baldry came top of the league table emphasising his commitment to local businesses. He was followed by Richard Benyon MP Newbury and David Cameron MP Witney. Full report here

David Cameron supporting Keep Trade Local
Barry Wheatley, FSB Oxfordshire Chairman in conversation with David Cameron MP about the progress of the Keep Trade Local campaign in Oxfordshire. David and Barry went on to meet a local manufacturing company and take part in a BBC TV interview about the importance of ensuring banks start lending again.

Andrew Smith MP was amongst a handful of MPs in the Thames Valley that were awarded the small business friendly award for his consistent support of small businesses in speeches while in the House of Commons. The photograph was taking at a business breakfast hosted by Oxford Brookes University and organised by the FSB to allow members to speak directly to their MP about their business concerns.
