The Co-operative  Bank

"On the 1st of February we went to our usual FSB meeting where a member of the Co-op Bank made a presentation.  We were very impressed and gave the speaker our business card so that information could be sent to us.

By coincidence the following day a letter arrived from Barclays Bank informing us that our one year's free banking was coming to an end!

The Co-op forms arrived which were duly completed and returned.  A few days later we had a call from the Co-op checking a few points and a few more days after this a letter arrived confirming process of our application.

A week or two later, another letter arrived announcing our account was now active - it gave us our new account number, cheque and paying-in books, with internet banking details arriving very soon after.

We had a query and called the help number, it was answered quickly and our question answered immediately.

The following day was the monthly FSB meeting - our account had been set up with all the paperwork delivered in one month!!
