Enterprise Europe Network launches free online tool to help south east businesses find European partners, agents, suppliers and distributers
One of the core services provided by the Enterprise Europe Network is helping companies to find the right European partner for their business. Innovative companies may need to find a technology partner to help bring their products to market. Commercial companies may be looking for an agent, distributer or supplier to help them make that first crucial step to internationalisation, or other companies may be looking for sources of European funding for research and development projects – a top priority for the European Union.
To mark European SME week 2010, the Enterprise Europe team at BSK-CiC have launched an ‘Automatic Matching Tool' on their website. This is an embeddable tool for the secure display and dissemination of ALL types of collaboration opportunities across 44 countries and 550 partners, belonging to the Enterprise Europe Network; technology requests, technology offers, business collaboration partnerships (including suppliers, distributers and agents and FP7, within a single searchable interface. The AMT will allow effective dissemination of ALL profile types to client businesses, giving them the choice of RSS subscription, email alerting or direct web searching. The Tool uses a simple ‘keyword' search - for example, if a client is interested in ‘Aerospace', their search will call up commercial, innovation and research partnering opportunities. This is a valuable, effective way for businesses to view all types of collaboration opportunities, relevant to them and help them take that next step to trading with Europe.
