Get Safe Online to visit small businesses in Northern Ireland

‘Get Safe Online’ supported by PSNI and partners including FSB, will be visiting Northern Ireland in October to offer small business advice on cyber security, at the following times and locations:

  • Victoria Square, Belfast                        Thursday 20th October 16             10.30am – 8.30pm
  • Foyleside Centre, Derry                       Friday 21st October 16                    12noon– 7pm

What will be at each event?  (Subject to change)

  • The Kaspersky Formula 1 Race Simulator (fastest lap wins F1 Tickets to F1 Silverstone) Free use to those who avail of advice.  
  • Have your tablet, laptop or mobile checked for malware infection or security issues
  • Check your email address with experts to see if it’s been compromised and shared by criminals.
  • Advice from ‘Gumtree’ on how to safely use auction sites or resolve issues.
  • Get free advice on any aspect of Internet use, banking, shopping, working, dating, communicating, parents, children, gaming , …..everything….
  • Specialist advice for small businesses. (Including Cyber Essentials package)
  • Advice from officers involved in Cyber Investigation and Child Online Protection.
  • Report Cyber Crimes and incidents with Action Fraud.

This event will coincide with Get Safe Online day on 18th October 16.
