The Route to Business Finance

At the June branch meeting we will be welcoming John Taylor, West Midlands' Regional Director at National FSB service providers 'ASC Finance'.

* Are you looking for finance for your business?
* Do you want to buy premises or new equipment?
* Do you simply want working capital?
* Or are you too frightened to talk to your bank in case they say no or even withdraw or reduce your existing facilities?

ASC Finance for Business understand how businesses operate, and what it needs to get the finance for small and medium sized businesses.  John has raised many millions of pounds for businesses in the region and believes that lenders will still lend if the proposals are properly thought out and formulated.  You know the banks that don't lend, ASC know the banks that do.

On 13th June John will give a presentation explaining what is really happening.

This event is free to attend and is open to FSB members and guests. If you have any queries please contact Michelle McAuliffe, branch secretary by email

Who Wants to be an Entrepreneur?  We do...!

We can't all pitch our inventions on Dragons' Den or create something world-changing like Facebook, but if you've got a good idea and you're prepared to put it into practice, then that makes you an entrepreneur….and your efforts should be celebrated!

When you start your own business, you need all the help you can get.  And where better to get that support and inspiration than from other real-life entrepreneurs and an organisation such as the FSB.  Our Development Manager, Karen Woolley, will take you through the work the FSB is doing on your behalf to help real life entrepreneurs to succeed.
