Why is SWAPU here?
‘To work with partners to ensure that Small Businesses are included in the economic success of the SW’
To achieve this - SWAPU will concentrate on influencing South West Organisations, Agencies and MEPs, primarily the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA).
The Sub Regional Partnerships are playing an increasingly important part in SWRDA’s work, as are the County level Local Strategic Partnerships. Therefore these will also be included in SWAPU’s remit.
SWAPU will operate at the Area level, unless assisting a Region or Branch with a specifically agreed project.
SWAPU will seek to 'add value' to the work of the Regions and Branches in the Area, with the benefit of the FSB member as its objective.
