Are you displaying 3rd party images etc on your website?
Can you be sure you're not infringing copywrite material on your menus, product information and other material?
Intellectual Property (IP) results from the expression of an idea. So IP might be a brand, an invention, a design, a song or another intellectual creation. IP can be owned, bought and sold.
- Have you developed, or are you about to create a brand name, logo or slogan?
- Do you know who actually owns your website?
- Are you aware of how to create money from your Intellectual Property (IP)?
Want the answers to these questions and many more about IP?
The first half of this joint event will provide a great opportunity to hear presentations from IP experts from the Intellectual Property Office.
If you are not sure what you might own, take a FREE quick and easy online IP Health Check.
This event will also enable you to understand your responsibilities as a company officer and provide details of the filing requirements under the Companies Act 2006. Companies House will explain the ways in which you can deal with them electronically by filing your information with us online and searching or extensive database to find out more information about your customers, competitors and investors.
