Tony Quinn, Chairman of Salisbury Branch said:
"This event will be the first of its kind in the City and indeed the County. The aim is to ensure no sales pitches from the professionals, just free advice!
We want businesses of all sizes to come away with help and advice to steer them in the correct direction.
The team behind this event will ensure we target businesses from outside of the City to ensure we put Salisbury firmly on the business map.
This ties in nicely with our successful Keep Trade Local campaign and will help FSB members tap into the business expertise in the area, free of charge.
I'm also hoping that many FSB members offer their expertise as presenters or exhibit on one of the days or simply come along."
Over the course of the three days, event organisers are hoping to offer free advice from banks, insurance, solicitors, accountants, estate agents, website designers, business advisors and marketing to name a few. With stands offering advice and a series of seminars and workshops over the three days the hope is as many businesses come through the doors and gain some guidance.
Claire Burden, Business Manager for Salisbury City Council said:
"Everyone is aware of the difficulties currently faced by businesses of all sizes across the Country.
The hope is businesses from the City and further afield will be able to come along and network while taking away advice and guidance on the next steps for their business.
We have already assigned various guest speakers and are currently working on increasing the knowledge and expertise we have on hand over the three days."
