In recent years, despite pressure from the FSB and others, the burdens of tax and "red-tape" on small businesses have risen exponentially, added to which, the increasing number of quasi-government regulators is dampening the spirit of enterprise and making the running of a profitable businesses all the more difficult. A key function of the FSB is to campaign for the removal of these burdens, and to protect the interests of enterprise.
Everywhere there are injustices and inequalities that discriminate against small businesses. If you have experienced any such treatment, or have encountered excessive bureaucracy, waste, injustice, unfair treatment, malpractice or any discrimination which limits or constrains business activity, then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! - and your FSB branch is here to help.
Firstly, complain to the offending authority and secondly, refer the matter to your local FSB branch committee. Subject to the committee's approval, the FSB will support your complaint and, if necessary, help you plan and execute a campaign to bring about change.
WORKING TOGETHER, WE CAN ACHIEVE GREAT SUCCESS IN MAKING THE WORLD A MORE BUSINESS-FRIENDLY PLACE AND WEED OUT ALL THE UNFAIRNESS THAT SERVES ONLY TO CONSTRAIN GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY.
