The ‘Voice of Small Business' Survey Panel is the FSB's main research tool.  It's our way of gathering your views on topical issues to help achieve tangible lobbying wins on your behalf.

Here are just a few of the things that we've achieved since the panel started in January 2010:

• Your answers to questions on business confidence feed into the ‘Voice of Small Business' Index published every quarter which is now an established indicator and recognised as such by Government and the media
• Access to finance quarterly results are used by the Bank of England to help establish interest rates and in their ‘Trends in lending' report
• Up-to-date results have allowed the FSB to produce authoritative policy reports on Infrastructure, Late Payment and Exporting to name but a few, and it is with these reports that we lobby Government and try and change the environment in which you work
• The results and statistics are used frequently by the media and MPs and lords in the Houses of Parliament

These results really do help frame the lobbying work we do so without your contributions we wouldn't be on such a strong position. We appreciate your participation so thank you.
