The Jobcentre Plus will be reformed and equipped to tackle rising unemployment, and cater to small businesses. This is a result of the FSB campaign launch last summer which showed one in three small businesses find Jobcentre Plus ineffective. Read more

In October 2009 the National Minimum wage will go up to £5.80 an hour for adults. The FSB is currently campaigning for a freeze in the National Minimum wage in 2010.
