Recruitment

ASK ME WHY is a new recruitment campaign that encourages members and staff to recruit new members. It is a national campaign that will draw on branding, consistency and regional buy-in.

Colin StrattonThe campaign asks people to sign up as LEAD GENERATORS to:

  • Help identify potential new members.
  • Input to new best practice and dissemination of ideas

Each region will receive a campaign starter pack with branded material and a pop-up banner. In addition there will be a regular newsletter to support the work.  The work will be overseen by a regional coordinator (member).

Questions and Answers:

Q:  What is the role of the regional coordinator?
A:  To roll out the campaign in the region as and when things are put in place. They will facilitate the conversations between the Regional Organisers and Members and Recruiters. They will be in charge of feeding back if the campaign is successful or not. The Regions are able to develop this role further.

Q: Will the regional coordinator be a member of staff or a member?
A:  Member.

Tony CherryQ: The ROLOs are already overworked, so what has the reaction to this campaign been?
A: The ROLO will need to be involved, however it will be up to the Region to decide to what extent.  A lot of activities are already closely connected to what we are trying to achieve here. Events, meetings, shows and the existing Keep Trade Local campaign are all part of recruiting new members.

Q: Do we have to pay for the starter-pack?
A: No payment for starter-packs.
