Business Crime Advice

Make sure you do everything you can to keep your Business Secure!

We do not always think about security first, but the Police do.  They would rather prevent crimes than have to solve them

Your local Police Station will have a Crime Reduction and Architectural Liaison Officer or Business Crime Advisors who's job it is to help you make your property as safe and secure as possible.

Each county also has a team dedicated to helping you to prevent crime against your business

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

The Notts Police "Safer Business" initiative includes:

  • Crime Prevention surveys - free of charge to help identify areas of potential weakness and recommendations for security improvements
  • Supplying cost effective crime prevention interventions at 40% less than the Recommended Retail Price
  • Assistance with setting up Business Watches or combined security schemes on business parks
  •  Business Watch - Register your details at www.nottsbusinesswatch.co.uk  to be alerted to crime issues in your area as soon as the Police become aware of them.

Registration is straight forward. You can register your premises and then include details of key holders etc, as the different fields will allow you to input data in respect of different risks. The system also allows for the registration of domestic premises - for example if you log on you will be able to populate the system with your business details and then add your home address details to receive information relevant to both locations.
