Source Portals
The Source portals (Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire) have been created with funding from the East Midlands Centre of Excellence to bring buyers and suppliers together.
One of the key objectives is to make it easier for businesses to find out about new sources of potential revenue, and therefore, grow and develop to the benefit of the local economy. As well as new contract opportunities, you will also find a list of recurring contracts which you may be able to bid for in the future.
Other features include a free newsletter, which you can subscribe to, and an events section with important dates for your calendar. Explore the navigation bar on the left to find your way around the site and see what else it has to offer.
Source Nottingham
Source Nottinghamshire lists most of the tenders and contracts for goods, services and works needed by Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottingham City Council and the seven Districts and Borough councils in the county. View the website.
Source Derbyshire
Most of the contracts listed here are for services and equipment required by Derbyshire County Council, Derby City Council and the eight district and borough councils in the county. But if you have a contract, or a requirement you want to advertise, you too can publish it on this website for free, subject to the approval of the portal administrator. View the website.

Tender Opportunities sent by David Dillon
As of August David Dillion's post as LEGI Local Supply Chain Network Co-ordinator for the Alliance for Enterprise ceased. This means that as of mid August the 'New Tender Opportunities' links on the website stopped, however all opportunities should be listed on the Source Portals (please see above). We would like to thank David for keeping us informed of new opportunities and wish him all the best for the future.

East Midlands Development Agency (emda) has launched a new ‘procurement portal' for regional firms to tender for contracts – and help get better value for taxpayers' money.
The system means suppliers can view emda contract announcements in real time via the agency's website, and will make it easier for small and medium sized companies to apply. There are also links to the other English Regional Development Agencies, European tenders and information about contracts for the London 2012 Games. More info...
