Have your say on banking in Northern Ireland
The Federation of Small Businesses has teamed up with the Ulster Business School to examine the relationship between local businesses and their banks and FSB members will play a key role in shaping the final report.
This work will examine the attitudes and relationships between local businesses and banks, and the information gathered exclusively from FSB members will help provide a critical insight into your experiences with the banks and identify key areas and issues that need attention.
The findings of the study will be essential in our drive to improve access to credit for our members and will have wide ranging implications for how banks interact and support small firms here.

Welcome to the FSB Northern Ireland Policy Homepage.
Small businesses are at the core of the local economy. They account for 99.9% of all businesses in Northern Ireland and provide employment for around 347,000 people. It is these firms that will drive forward economic recovery and the FSB will continue to lobby and advise on the policies and legislation required to achieve this.
Since the inception of the Assembly the FSB has enjoyed a good working relationship with all the political parties, delivering positive benefits for small businesses, such as Small Business Rates Relief, and the simplified Workplace Disputes Resolution process.
We look forward to cementing these connections even further as we work together in the coming months and years to create the conditions that will rebuild our economy after one of the deepest periods of recession in history.
