The North East Buchan Branch has Fraserburgh to the north and Peterhead  to the south. It contains the UK's largest concentration of fishing based industry.

The area has a growing tourist industry with several important visitor attractions  and many more places of interest.

Bank of England Listens to Local FSB 

In July, Aberdeen City & Shire FSB representatives met with Will Dowson, the Bank of England Agent for Scotland. Will was interested in listening to the issues faced by small businesses in the North East and the information he received will feed through him and directly affect Bank of England policy decisions. 

With overarching authority of the UK banking sector returning to the Bank of England, there has never been a more important time for small businesses to meet with the BoE and discuss their positive and negative experiences on the ground. Will is reasonably new in post and we are delighted that he continues to support the excellent FSB - BoE relationship in the North East of Scotland.
