Enhancing Learning through Work Placements: The Aberdeen Approach
The University of Aberdeen is currently implementing wide scale curriculum reform to enhance both the student experience and also student employability.

Central to this reform is the provision of an extended portfolio of co-curricular opportunities including summer placements, internships and year long work placements.
As part of our reformed curriculum the University invites FSB members to contribute to the enhanced and extended work placement programme during 2012.
If you would like to explore offering a placement in 2012 please contact the Work Placement Team (01224 273601) within the University's Careers Service. Further information is also available at: The Difference.
Fire Safety Information
A major change in fire safety law took place in 2006, which placed the requirement to comply with this law firmly with the "duty holder" and not the Fire and Rescue Service.
