The FSB is a member-led organisation, and there are a number of ways that members can help shape FSB policy, activity and profile.
Can you give a helping hand?
Join your Branch Committee
Each FSB Branch is run by a Committee of volunteer members who give a little of their free time to shape local activity, by planning and delivering Branch events, raising the FSB profile at business fairs and carrying the FSB message into meetings with local authorities, MP's, etc.
Take part in local and national surveys
Member opinion is vital to the FSB. Please do take part in local surveys and consider joining the FSB National Survey Panel.
Be available for press and media comment
The FSB regularly provides press releases for local newspapers and radio stations, and is often asked to provide comment and insight on small business issues. Ideally we like our comments to come direct from our members, so if you are willing to be contacted from time to time to comment on things happening in your area of expertise and operation, please let us know.
