Keep Trade Local Challenge Greater London 2014

Keep Trade Local Logo

Our annual Keep Trade Local Challenge, timed to coincide with Small Business Saturday* was held this year on 6th December.

Businesses were able to register on the Keep Trade Local website and their details were posted on the online directory, helping to increase their online exposure and enjoy the associated benefits of increased search engine performance.  They were also able to add offers, promotions and deals to their listing and we supported their activities with free marketing materials that promoted free competitions for shoppers and offered participating businesses a chance to nominate a member of their team who had worked well on the Keep Trade Local Challenge. The competitions closed on 12th December 2014.

The winners of the competitions were:

Shoppers' draw – Zoe Angle of Acton London for shopping at Butikken. Zoe was presented with her £500 prize cheque by Colin Francis, FSB Greater London Regional Treasurer, at Butikken on Friday 16th January 2015

Business Team nomination draw – Michael Jones, nominated by Elizabeth Jones of Natures Purest Balham, 78 Balham High Street, London, SW12 9AG. Michael received his £250 prize cheque from Veronika Weisweiller, FSB Greater London National Councillor, at Natures Purest Balham on Tuesday 20th January 2015.

Twitter photo competition – Matthew Broadbent of Hackney @Spambondigo received his £250 prize cheque for his winning selfie from Sue Terpilowski OBE, FSB London Thursday 29th January 2015 at Spandeli's, Dalston Lane, Hackney.
