The Voice of Small Business
The FSB lobbies on behalf of small businesses and self employed people. With a National Press and Parliamentary Office in Westminster, the SW Policy Unit and a network of local Branches (East, Mid and West Cornwall), the FSB is well equipped to represent members concerns at both local and National level.
Lobbying starts by influencing local matters such as planning, economic development, tourism and retail support, which can be taken up to County or South West level and then up to National level.
Our branch and regional committees discuss and make action plans regarding all of the different issues affecting members from across a vast range of different types of small businesses. The committees meet regularly, but also tend to communicate via email and telephone so that they are continually involved in the process.
If you are interested in getting involved, or have an issue to bring forward, please email the Development Manager or your local branch committee, whose details can be found via the Branch Web Page.
Have your say .....
From the Westminster Press and Parliamentary Office our professional lobbying teams work with M.P.s, Government and Whitehall. They are also well connected to the national media, and the opinion of the FSB is often sought after and respected.
Do you have an issue you would like the FSB to champion for you? Not sure what help and advice is available? If there is something you would like to discuss please email the Development Manager.
You can also raise issues and topics for discussion through the FSB Discussion Forum, which has both national and regional forum boards. Visit the Forum Website for further information and to post a topic.
