The FSB in London has been working to try to ensure that small businesses can get the maximum benefits from the 2012 Games.
From January 2008 there has been a new and revised website launched which is the place to find London 2012 Games related business opportunities.
The website has been updated and contractors can post opportunities on the site and suppliers can now apply for opportunities and search for business partners and joint working.
The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and other buyers are now posting their opportunities on the site and these will grow in number.
Hundreds of opportunities of all size will be posted in the months ahead.
It is anticipated that in due course, over 50,000 contracts will be featured on the site.
Business owners will be able to log into the site and register their businesses. This will provide you them with automatic email alerts about tendering opportunities which are relevant to your businesses.
A Business Profile will have to be completed for this service.
The best way to understand all of the facilities on the new Competefor.com website is to download the user guide. This will then provide you with step-by-step instructions on all the site's features.
