FSB & Worldpay UK Business Awards 2017

The FSB & Worldpay UK Business Awards have helped Britain’s smaller businesses to step into the limelight and celebrate their achievements at a national level.

The 2017 awards, held on May 10th at London’s Globe Theatre were our biggest and most spectacular to date. They were hosted by entrepreneur Tim Campbell, MBE, founder of the Bright Ideas Trust and the first winner of the BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’.

This year there were 11 different award categories, each with a £2,000 cash prize, as well as a chance to win an additional £10,000 in business-boosting prize money, by being named the UK’s Best Small Business 2017.

The 2017 Winners

In all, there were 10 winners across the 11 categories, showcasing the UK’s most inspiring small businesses. From a Durham business offering hens for hire, an adventure activity experience in an abandoned slate mine in Wales and a young entrepreneur whose mission is to inspire the next generation of digital creators.

This year’s Best Small Business and winner of the Exporter of the year category is Kendal Nutricare, the makers of ‘Kendamil’ infant formula.
