Knowledge Thurrock Innovation Associates Project
Essex FSB is helping promote the Knowledge Thurrock Innovation Associates Project which is managed by the University of East London.
Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Knowledge Thurrock Innovation Associates project is designed to provide Thurrock businesses with the additional resource and expertise to tackle important business projects which benefit both their bottom line and support the carbon-reduction agenda.
The project connects businesses to a talented student or recent graduate (Innovation Associate) to work within your company for a six-week period on a specific project. An academic expert is also on hand to lend their expertise to the project and ensure that the project delivers the benefit your company expects.
The project, which is led by Thurrock Council, costs companies £500 (which is the equivalent of £4,000 to £5,000 worth of consultancy) to participate, offers companies the opportunity to:
- Inject fresh-thinking and innovative ideas into the company
- Take on a task you don't have the time or in-house expertise to deal with
- Get practical solutions to solve real business problems
- Research and implement new systems, products or processes i.e. implement new IT systems, develop a new website or design a tailored marketing plan.
For further information about the project or to discuss how your company could benefit from the programme, please contact Project Coordinator Richard Snell on 07500 802 311.
