The University of Essex established the Essex Business School in 2008.
Essex Business School brings together the whole range of business related teaching and research at the University.
The School is organised into four subject groups:
- Accounting
- Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Finance and
- Management.
The school is located on both Colchester and Southend campuses.
Essex Business School provides excellent opportunities for developing new interdisciplinary research initiatives addressing some of the pressing questions facing organisations in the current economic and political climate.
Essex Business School offers degrees in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, management, and marketing
Teaching in the School is informed by a broad range of social science theories and concepts, and these are applied to some of the pressing issues facing organisations in the public and private sector, for example, business ethics, corporate social responsibility and managing for sustainability and the environment.
