Essex FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) has given its backing to the Good for Leigh campaign being run by Leigh-on-Sea Town Council.
The Good for Leigh campaign is an excellent example of how a community can come together to help support the businesses in that community which is an integral part of the FSB's Keep Trade Local campaign.
Campaign Aims
The aims of the Good for Leigh campaign are:
- To make Leigh-on-Sea an even more pleasant place in which to live, work, play or visit.
- To encourage people to use local shops, restaurants and businesses.
- To encourage ‘green' responsibility in Leigh-on-Sea.
Charters
The Good for Leigh campaign includes three distinct charters which can be obtained via the website:
- Communities Charter
- Residents' Charter
- Traders' Charter
The Next Steps
Essex FSB will now be looking at other opportunities to work with Leigh-on-Sea Town Council for the benefit of businesses in the town.
