A massive vote of confidence has been given to a Beat the Recession and Boost Your Sales Seminar run in Chelmsford by Essex FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) and Mid Essex Enterprise Agency with a massive 96.5 per cent of those attending being satisfied with the event.

Around 70 local business people came along to this special Beat the Recession and Boost Your Sales Seminar and heard Mike Kendall of Mid Essex Enterprise Agency speak about the services available from his team before Your Virtual Sales Director Steve Clarke took to the floor for 60 minutes of fast moving, practical tips.

The meeting atmosphere was charged as business owners and managers quickly noted down details of how they could improve their marketing and bring new customers to their business.

The evaluation forms from those attending have now been analysed with a massive 96.55 per cent of those attending saying they were either very or fairly satisfied with the event overall and an incredible 100 per cent being satisfied with Steve Clarke's presentation!

FSB Membership Advisor Ivor Guthrie highlighted how using FSB servcies such as free business banking and preferential creidt and debit card processing with Streamline can cut costs, reduce bad debts and help boost proifts

We are now waiting to see what benefits those tips bring to the businesses present as we know that one Witham firm won a new contract worth £3,000 by following up a year old quote after attending one of these seminars and we are sure that other firms will do equally well if they put Steve's tips in to action!

The evening included a first class buffet supplied by Lite Bites Catering of Duke Street, Chelmsford which demonstrated the benefits of Essex FSB's Keep Trade Local campaign.
