Influencing policy
One of the best ways of influencing policy is by contacting your Member of Parliament.
If you have business premises in a different constituency from your home then writing from each address adds weight to the point you are making, if you have more than one business address then writing from each address is worthwhile as rarely do MPs get more than a handful of letters on any local issue - if the number reaches double figures it becomes a significant one for them.
Letters
These should be sent to House of Commons, Westminster, London, SW1A 0AA.
Emails
For maximum impact personalise the email - do not send to a group of MPs as such emails are often given little credibility.
Members of Parliament
The table below shows the Members of Parliament for Essex, Havering and Redbridge with links to their web site, which usually includes details of their constituency advice surgeries, by clicking on constituency name and to their email address by clicking on their name.
