Essex is a major logistics hub for the British economy with the Ports of Harwich and Tilbury, major rail lines in to London, the M11 and M25 motorways and the A12 and A13 major trunk roads as wellas London Southend and London Stansted Airports.

Logistics is a growing industgry and there is a need for proeprly trained and qualified staff in this sector to help firms develop and expand.

The Essex County Council Apprenticeship Scheme aims to provide help to businesses in the logistics sector wishing to recruit an apprentice.
