Business Rates

This is often the second biggest area of expenditure for businesses and should be factored in to your budget.
If the rateable value of the premises you occupy is below £15,000 in Essex, or £21,500 in Havering or Redbridge, you may be entitled to Small Business Rate Relief which could cut your rates bill by up to 50 per cent BUT you must make sure you claim for it.
