Every FSB member is automatically allocated to the FSB Branch which represents their area based on the postcode of their registered address.
Within Essex FSB there are five Branches:
- Mid and North West Essex which represents members based in Chelmsford, Harlow, Maldon and Uttlesford Council areas.
- North East Essex which represents members based in Braintree, Colchester and Tendring Council areas.
- South East Essex which represents members based in Castle Point, Rochford and Southend-on-Sea Council areas.
- South Essex which represents members based in Basildon Council area.
- South West Essex which represents members based in Brentwood, Epping Forest, Havering, Redbridge and Thurrock Council areas.
Each Branch has its own Branch Officers and Committee and a team of members who act as contact points for each local council.
The Branch Officers and Committee are elected at the Annual General Meeting held on the second Tuesday of November each year - during the year most Branch Committees welcome extra members who decide they wish to help on specific projects.
