Essex FSB works in partnership with the Bank of England Agent for the area to enable a two way flow of information between the Bank's representatives and small businesses in Essex, Havering and Redbridge.

Essex County Panel

Twice a year Essex FSB organises a Business Breakfast Briefing on behalf of the Bank of England.

The Bank's Deputy Agent for East Anglia, Alex Golledge, hosts the event with around a dozen invited small business owners from across the county, often from business sectors in which the bank is particularly interested.

The two hour long meeting allows for free flowing discussion to provide the Bank of England with hard data and information from people actually running small businesses.

Harlow Panel

The Mid and North West Essex FSB Branch works with Harlow Town Centre Partnership to provide members for a special Bank of England Panel which meets in the town.

Again the aim is to provide the Bank of England with hard data and information from people actually running businesses but with specific reference to Harlow's economy.
