Introduction

The FSB has around 16,000 members within the East Midlands.  The Area Policy Unit represents the interests of small businesses with the regional tier of government.  Its boundaries mirror the Government's East Midlands region.

Elected members and staff work with key bodies such as the Regional Development Agency (emda), the Regional Assembly, and the Government Office for the East Midlands to highlight issues of concern to small businesses.  They also work with them to help create an  environment that fully supports small business growth and sustainability.

Results of the 2009 FSB Annual Survey - East Midlands

2009 National Survey - EMIn Autumn 2009 we conducted our annual national survey of FSB members across the UK.  We asked them about general economic conditions and where their trade came from.  We also asked them who they consulted for business advice and sought their opinions on Government funded business support.  Download your copy of the recently published 2009 FSB Annual Survey Report for the East Midlands by clicking on the image on the left.
