Welcome to the East Sussex Region Policy page

FSB 'Policy' involves the issues that affect small businesses: to help doing business easier within a legal framework. Many issues are tackled by the FSB at a European or national level eg business tax, employment legislation and banking matters. However, there is quite a lot we can do at a local level to influence, lobby and campaign on small businesses' behalf, for instance, car parking, planning and transport.
We champion real-life entrepreneurs and are in regular dialogue with the Business,Innovation and Skills Government Department, local MPs, Council leaders and their Economic Development Managers.
