Luciana Berger succeeded Jane Kennedy as the MP for Liverpool Wavetree in May 2010.

Luciana beat off competition from Conservative MP Wendy Simon to take the Wavertree seat by 94 votes.

Luciana has a Masters Degree in Government, Politics and Policy from the University of London and was a National Executive Committee member of the National Union of Students.

She worked in Public Affairs for Accenture and for the NHS as their Government & Parliamentary Manager.
