Yes. Because your FSB membership is tied to you and not the business, you are able to use all the benefits of membership (including the legal protection cover) for any company that you are a director, or a partner in, as long as the total number of employees for all businesses combined does not exceed 249 – as per the terms of membership.

Yes you can. There is an ‘FSB Member’ logo available for you to use on your websites and other collateral. It is available to download from our website in both .JPEG and .EPS formats.

To access and download the logo, you’ll need to log in with your member number and password. Remember, once downloaded to save to your PC, laptop, MAC, smartphone, or other deceives.

Use of FSB’s Member logo is to show your affiliation to FSB and is not a recommendation, or endorsement on behalf of the FSB.

No. As FSB is a Business Support and Lobbying organisation, we are unable to give our members’ details out.

However, you may be interested in FSB Business Leads, the member benefit designed to give you access to a range of services to help find new customers and deliver integrated marketing campaigns.

You can find your membership number printed on the back of your membership card, on your membership certificate and on any renewal documentation sent in the post, or via email.

FSB will not pass on your details to any unaffiliated organisation.

If you have opted in to receiving information about member benefits from our official Service Providers, you will receive marketing from the FSB promoting the benefits of membership, which will include promotions from our official Service Providers.

If you purchase the product or sign up to the service, the provider in question may add you to their list and you are bound by their terms and conditions.

The legal and tax cover you receive as part of your membership is available on your legal protection insurance certificate which came with your welcome pack, or you can view an electronic copy in the 'My Account' area of FSB’s website.

No. The investigation will be handled by FSB’s Legal Services team.

However, should the team need any information from your accountant, a fee is agreed between them and will be covered by our legal protection insurance. You can view a copy of the legal protection insurance certificate in the 'My Account' section of FSB’s website.

You’ll need to log in with your member number and password.

The membership payment is VAT exempt.

We can offer you two options. The first is to call the legal advice line on: 03450 727 727, available 24/7. Remember to have your membership number to hand when calling.

The second is to access your FSB Online Documents and utilise one of the templates.  You’ll need to log in with your member number and password.

If at any time you lose or forget your password, don’t worry, you can easily reset it by visiting www.fsb.org.uk click the 'Login' button and then the ‘forgotten password’ link under the login box.

You’ll be directed to the ‘forgotten password’ page where you’ll need to enter your membership number and primary postcode. Once entered, an email with a one use 48 hour expiry password reset link will be sent to the email address you registered with.

You then need to click the link when prompted to assign a new password.

Once a password has been generated, you’ll receive a confirmation email confirming that the password has been changed.

Yes, your FSB Insurance benefit will help you. Their team of insurance experts will be able to discuss your personal or business insurance needs. Give them a call on: 0345 762 6158 Monday and Thursday 8:30 to 6pm and Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, or login to FSB’s website and use FSB Insurance Services’ Portal here

No. FSB Business banking is not a right of membership and the account is subject to status.

If you wish to apply for a account, visit FSB Business banking’s website, or call their new accounts team on: 0800 14 14 15. Lines open: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 6pm. Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday closed.

No. Members can nominate a local post office to deposit cash and cheques. For further information, visit FSB Business banking’s website, or call their team on: 0800 14 14 15. Lines open: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 6pm. Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday closed.

Unfortunately, we do not get any information on applications and are unable to overturn the Co-op’s decision.

No. We are unable to offer advice on business rates.

However, you can contact the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) who give the government the valuations and property advice needed to support taxation and benefits.

They can be reached by phone on: 03000 501 501 in England and: 03000 505 505 in Wales. Opening hours for both England and Wales offices are: 8:30am to 5pm. Closed on bank holidays.

In Northern Ireland, The Land and Property Services (LPS) provide a valuation for all rateable properties in Northern Ireland and provide valuation advice to the public. LPS is responsible for the collection of rates and the administration of rates related reliefs and benefits.

For members in Scotland, please speak to your Development Manager who will be able to provide details of agencies that can assist you.

If for whatever reason you wish to complain about one of FSB’s official Service Providers, please contact Customer Services on: 0808 20 20 888, between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays. Welcome to FSB!

You'll have received an email to the email address you registered with, directing you to a page on our website where you'll be asked to enter your member number (in your welcome email) and postcode.

Once submitted, a onetime use link will be issued to the registered email address. This will allow you to set a password of your choice.

The onetime link expires after 48 hours. If your link expires, you'll need to repeat the process.


Yes. All of your member benefits are active from the time your payment was accepted. 

The details of which can be found in your welcome pack, which will be with you within the next three weeks. You can also view your benefits by logging onto our website.

Remember, you’ll need to create a password first, then you will be able to log in to the website and access your benefits, including essential legal documents and templates.

All of your exclusive member benefits are now active, including your Tax and Legal protection insurance policy.

Remember to phone before you act, as any action may invalidate your claim.

You can set up a Direct Debit in three easy steps:

  1. Print off and complete the Direct Debit mandate. Taking care to add your membership number, and any other associated member numbers (if applicable).<
  2. Scan the signed document to make an electronic copy.
  3. Attach the electronic copy to an email and send to our Member Services team on: membership@FSB.org.uk who will contact you within 48 hours of receiving the email, to let you know it has been set up successfully.
