Some of our recent successful events:
Meeting with Ed Miliband - March 2011
With the Leader of the Opposition giving the keynote speech at the
2011 FSB Conference, he was keen to hear first-hand from some London FSB
members about the key issues facing small businesses. Eight members met
him in a private meeting at his office in the House Of Commons and
discussed a range of issues from red tape and employment law to
apprenticeships and business rates.
"Ed Miliband and his team clearly want to get a good understanding of
the key issues for the small business community. We will continue to
work to ensure that Labour and every other party recognises the scale of
the problems and the size of the small business vote. We want
politicians to know that they ignore small businesses at their political
peril," said London's Senior Development Manager Nick Winch.
