Mayoral Elections 2010
|

|
May 2008 saw elections for the post of Mayor of London as well as for the Greater London Assembly.
As part of its preparations for those elections, the FSB consulted with members and other business owners to identify the key issues which need to be addressed by the political parties.
The manifesto highlights ten key areas where action can be taken to boost small businesses and help
London's economy prosper and grow. |
"With over 700,000 businesses in London - the vast majority of them very small - the needs of business cannot be ignored. It is the small businesses which are best placed to create the new jobs London needs, to create the wealth which supports the services every Londoner needs and to create an environment where social exclusion is tackled," says the FSB's London Policy Chairman Sue Terpilowski.
Launched at the FSB's National Conference in the Novotel Hotel, Hammersmith on March 2008, the manifesto can be downloaded here.
