The Young Enterprise is seeking experienced business people to assist as board members. Young Enterprise is the United Kingdom's largest business and enterprise education charity. Every year they help 250,000 young people learn abut business and the world of work in the classroom under the guidance of volunteers from 3,500 companies.

A board member is responsible for the running and administration of all the Young Enterprise Companies in a certain area. This means monitoring, visiting, and supporting YE business advisers, helping them running events, competitions and finals. Generally these tasks are divided up around an area broad with a Chairman co-ordinating it. The area Boards hold regular meetings.

There are six area boards around the County, and they are looking for new members in all areas but specifically at the moment, Ashford Weald, Shepway, Mid Kent and Medway, and North West Kent.
