FSB member designs first virtual tour guide
FSB Member, Mick Hurst, has developed the first ever virtual guide for visitors to Evesham, an historic town in South Worcestershire. Nestling between the Cotswold and Malvern Hills Evesham attracts thousands of visitors each year and the Market Town Partnership was keen to help them understand the history of the town and how it has played its part in history developing into today's bustling retail and commercial centre.
How it works...
Using a smartphone and a trigger card visitors download the Evesham Historic Trail app, where Brother Oswald, a virtual tour guide, explains the significance and historical facts of ten local landmarks.
This brand new facility is the first of its type in the UK and Evesham Market Town Partnership is delighted with the initial response of over 400 downloads in the first two weeks.
